Mendy Pollack

Mendy Pollack

Principal

Since his entry into the commercial real estate industry in 2002, Mr. Pollack has been involved in the financing and acquisition of over a billion dollars ’worth of fee simple real estate and non-performing debt. He began his career working for a large New York based mortgage brokerage firm; over time, utilizing his uniquely creative mind, he developed a knack for sourcing and structuring highly profitable distressed and value add opportunities for his clients, including private lending, third party brokerage of off market deals, and the sale of NPL & REO.

At the onset of the financial crisis in 2008, he recognized an opportunity to take advantage of his invaluable experience in the mortgage business and began consulting on behalf of borrowers struggling with loan delinquency due to the crisis. Over the next three years, Mr. Pollack successfully resolved over $100 million in small balance CMBS and private debt. In 2012, he, began acquiring non-performing and scratch-and-dent commercial loans as well as value-add commercial real estate. Since then, Mendy has become the go-to address for distressed debt opportunities and has consistently delivered returns well above industry standard.

Drawing on his extensive knowledge of commercial real estate and networking abilities, as well as his creative, out-of-the-box style of thinking, Mr. Pollack drives and administers all acquisition and disposition activities and is intimately involved in all major asset management decisions and strategies.

Sam Ingber

Co-Founder and Managing Principal 

Sam is a founding partner of Ironwood Realty Capital. Prior to launching the company, Sam co-founded Brookstone Management LLC, a highly respected and prominent mortgage field services provider, of which he still serves as CEO. Prior to founding Brookstone, Sam led a successful hedge fund whose primary goal was the acquisition and total rehabilitation of distressed and underperforming properties. 
 
 Sam has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, and is particularly recognized in the industry for his expertise in turning around distressed multi-family projects. Sam’s enthusiasm for rehabilitating these condemned properties stems from his deep passion for helping others. 
 
Outside of real estate, Sam is recognized for his selfless dedication to patients in need as a patient advocate  at Jersey Shore Medical center.

Abraham Goodman

Co-Founder and Managing Principal 

As cofounder of Ironwood Realty Capital, Abraham Goodman brings two decades of real estate experience and acclaimed expertise in property preservation and management. Abraham began his career in 2001, purchasing and rehabilitating distressed residential and commercial properties across the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2005, he founded Goody’s Property Preservation, a management company for lenders, managing single family homes across the Mid-Atlantic. 
 
In 2008, Abraham partnered with Sam Ingber, renaming Goody’s Brookstone Management LLC and expanding the regional operation to achieve national recognition as one of the premier property preservation companies in the country. 
 
As well, Abraham is a seasoned investor, and has successfully invested tens of millions of dollars in real estate.
